The Importance of Prayer

“Do not be anxious or worried about anything, but in everything [every circumstance and situation] by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, continue to make your [specific] requests known to God. 7 And the peace of God [that peace which reassures the heart, that peace] which transcends all understanding, [that peace which] stands guard over your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus [is yours].” - Philippians 4:6-7

Petitions

The definition of petition - בָּעוּ bâʻûw, baw-oo'; Aramaic (H1159) - is to make a request OR with the verb בְּעָא, to make an accusation to the Lord of Hosts. (YHVH Sabaoth)

Prayers

תְּפִלָּה tᵉphillâh, tef-il-law'; from (H6419); intercession, supplication; by implication, a hymn:—prayer. The Hebrew root פלל connotes “executing judgment” (Exodus 21:22) or “thinking” (Genesis 48:11). In this sense, the word להתפלל , to pray, may also refer to a process of accounting or contemplation.

“So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locust, the consuming locust, and the chewing locust, My great army which I sent among you.” - Joel 2:25 (NKJV) [Lord of angel armies/Lord of hosts]

“Ask and keep on asking and it will be given to you; seek and keep on seeking and you will find; knock and keep on knocking and the door will be opened to you” –Matthew 7:7 AMP

“Again I say to you, that if two believers on earth agree [that is, are of one mind, in harmony] about anything that they ask [within the will of God], it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.” Matthew 18:19 AMP

The prayers you will find on this page are ones that break strongholds/curses (current and generational), repent of sins or renounce the enemy.

Why is this important?

“Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?” – Amos 3:3 NKJV

We cannot be in demonic agreements we or our ancestors have made through disobedience, but want to claim Jeremiah 29:11 over our lives and claim health and freedom and prosperity. If we have not broken those agreements and replaced them with the blessings of God, the enemy (demonic rulers/principalities/powers) will still have ‘ownership’ and he will use it to steal, kill and destroy (bring death).

“The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows].” – John 10:10 AMP

Remember that the Lord gave Adam and Eve a choice – life or death - and that choice echoes throughout the universe, every day and in every moment. Therefore, when you repent/ break strongholds and curses (demonic agreements) or renounce the enemy you, are doing away with death, but it leaves you with a wide open space, so you then need to go back to the original blessing connected to the situation –a normal repentance example: Exodus 20:12 says to “Honor (respect, obey, care for) your father and your mother, so that your days may be prolonged in the land the LORD your God gives you.” Therefor if you did not honor your parents what will happen? You won’t enjoy a long life- and claim back your blessing to fill that space. Trade death for life. Taking the previous example, you would have to repent of dishonoring your father and mother, and reclaim the blessing of a long life.

What happens if you so not fill that space with God’s will?

“When the unclean spirit comes out of a person, it roams through waterless places in search [of a place] of rest; and not finding any, it says, ‘I will go back to my house (person) from which I came.’ And when it comes, it finds the place swept and put in order. Then it goes and brings seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they go in [the person] and live there; and the last state of that person becomes worse than the first.” - Luke 11:24-26 AMP

In order to break demonic agreements, we must repent and renounce the sin and renounce the demons we partnered with through that sin.

Repent Definition:

The repentance (Teshuvah - Return) that is spoken of in scripture is a personal, absolute, and ultimate unconditional surrender to YHVH as Sovereign. Though it includes sorrow and regret, it is more than that. In repenting, one makes a complete change of direction (180° turn) toward God. (Return to the voice of YHVH) We must break demonic agreements through an “absolute and unconditional surrender to YHVH” making “a complete change of direction” away from that sin and “toward YHVH”.

Renounce Definition:

To declare against; to reject or decline formally; to refuse to own or acknowledge as belonging to one; to disclaim; as, to renounce a title to land or to a throne. To cast off or reject deliberately; to disown; to dismiss; to forswear.

Our God is just, He is THE RIGHTEOUS JUDGE, and therefor if you/ your ancestors have made an agreement (covenant/contract) with the enemy, He cannot – in His righteousness – operate in that area of your life; be it curses that is washing out in illnesses within your bloodline, be it early death (dying at a young age) etc. Once you reclaim that area and come in agreement with Him, He can heal and bless and provide a new storyline for those situations and for your seed, your children, your bloodline.

“For I, the LORD, love justice; I hate robbery with a burnt offering. And I will faithfully reward them, And make an everlasting covenant with them.” - Isaiah 61:8 AMP (Burnt offering in other translations: wrongdoing or malice) “Listen carefully: I have given you authority [that you now possess] to tread on serpents and scorpions, and [the ability to exercise authority] over all the power of the enemy (Satan); and nothing will [in any way] harm you.” Luke‬ ‭10:19‬ (AMP‬‬)‬ “But I urge you, believers, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you be in full agreement in what you say, and that there be no divisions or factions among you, but that you be perfectly united in your way of thinking and in your judgment [about matters of the faith].” - 1 Corinthians 1:10 (NIV)
